EARKART HEARING AID INSURANCE POLICY AND CASHBACK- TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SUMMARY
This summary of key terms under the Earkart Hearing Aid Insurance Policy (“Policy”) is offered by a third-party insurer to Earkart Private Limited (“Earkart”). Covers under the policy can be availed by registered users/ Customers on the Earkart customer mobile application (hereinafter referred to as “Mobile Application”).
- The insurance cover under this Policy will apply to any hearing aid device(s), which has not been purchased via the Earkart platform. The conditions for availing this insurance are as follows:
- Must upload valid invoice (hereinafter referred to as “Customer Invoice”) of the device(s) on the mobile application.
- The invoice must have serial number of the device(s), model, date of purchase, insured’s name and an invoice value.
- Following the receipt of the abovementioned details, Earkart shall verify the details and strive to issue the insurance cover within 21 working days from date of verification of Customer Invoice/ details.
- After successful verification of the Customer details/ Invoice the Customer shall be able to access the Earkart benefits through the mobile application.
KEY BENEFITS:
- Insurance Scheme document procured by the third-party insurer, along with a beneficiary letter certifying the insured issued by Earkart.
- Instant credit of 50% of the amount of the invoice uploaded by the Customer, to the Earkart Mobile Application Wallet (hereinafter referred to as “Wallet”).
- Customer shall be eligible for one [1] free audiological consultation and evaluation on call, during the tenure of the insurance.
GENERAL CONDITIONS
- The insurance will not be available for Customers who do not provide all the required details and the correct legible invoice of the device(s).
- The claim will not be permissible by the third-party insurer if they are not in compliance with the terms and conditions provided in the scheme document issued by the third-party insurer.
- Earkart shall verify the Customer Invoice/ details within seven (7) working days from the date of receipt of the Customer Invoice.
- Earkart shall strive to issue the third-party insurance policy to the Customer within twenty-one [21] working days from the date of completion of verification of the Customer Invoice/ details, by Earkart.
- Earkart shall credit 50% of the amount of the invoice value to the Wallet, immediately upon uploading of the Customer invoice on the mobile application by the Customer.
- The Wallet amount can be redeemed only after completion of one [1] month from the date of issuance of the insurance cover.
- The Wallet amount is transferable and valid for all users.
- The Wallet amount shall expire within four [4] years from the date of issuance of the insurance cover.
- The Wallet amount is not valid for use with other promotional offers being rotated on the mobile application.
- The Wallet amount can be availed only on your next purchase through the dealer network of Earkart.
- The Wallet amount can be redeemed on making a purchase having a MRP higher than the MRP of the device detailed on the uploaded Customer invoice.
- The Wallet amount cannot be availed partially. It is a one-time use voucher only.
For e.g: Mr. X is desirous of purchasing a new hearing aid of MRP INR 50,000/- and in his Earkart wallet he has INR 10,000 /-, then Mr. X can utilise the entire wallet amount for the buying the above desired hearing aid for INR 40,000/-.
In another e.g: If, Mr. Y wants to buy a hearing aid of MRP INR 20,000/- but has INR 25000/- in his Earkart wallet, he cannot avail this benefit. For availing the wallet amount Mr. Y has to purchase hearing aid of above INR 50,000 MRP.
- You cannot change or refund purchases made with the Wallet amount. Any return of purchase made with this instant credit amount; the refund value will not include the voucher value.
